If you’ve read my blog for a while (and if you have, I thank you!!) you now that ever year I promise myself I will get fall/winter boots. Somehow, many years have passed and I still have no boots. This year, I am buckling down (hehe boot humor) and seriously looking for boots. Here’s what I’ve found so far…
2 Lips Too Too Jumble Boots – DSW
Even though I wear a lot of black, I really think that a brown/neutral boot will serve me better. This one is nice and flat and has minimal embellishments. Plus they have a structure, which I need in a boot. I love the slouchy ones but after awhile they get a bit too slouchy. This will be perfect with my leggings and jeans for fall!
Taupe Buckle Luna Wedge Boots – Torrid
I will be completely honest here; I probably wouldn’t wear these much. I love the look, but the 4″ wedge wouldn’t be that great for everyday use. But are they not awesome? I would wear these with my dresses and tights and cardigans, since that’s what I wear 80% of the time. I love the color and the style….. just not sure about the height. Though with an almost 6’6″ boyfriend, I can get away with wearing pretty much any heel height!
DV by Dolce Vita Simone Bootie – DSW
This girl I work with (shout out to Ashley!!) has some seriously mad style. If Jcrew and Banana Republic had a baby in an Anthropologie store, it would be her. She’s preppy without being stuffy and hip without being hipster. Recently she got the cutest ankle booties and I fell in shoe love. They are flat and look great with jeans both over and under them. I decided that some cute, flat ankle boots should for sure be on my list. I think these are perfect!
Frye Veronica Slouch Wide Calf Boot – Nordstrom
These are my “If I had all the money in the world” boots. Frye makes incredible boots – beautifully crafted, simple, classic boots. However they come with the price tag to match. So I guess I better look for a second stream of income to support my boot dreams…..
