Plus Size Outfit Post – Holiday Party Hotness

Why yes, I am referring to myself with the title of this post. My super adorable husband and I (OMG I HAVE A HUSBAND!) went to his company holiday party back in December, and I totally forgot to write a plus size outfit post about it! So here it is!

If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen this picture:

Shout out to all the kind people who said I looked pretty! Y’all sure do know how to make a lady feel special!

Anyway, that was my makeup shot of my outfit for the night. I almost forgot to have anyone take an outfit picture, and by the time I remembered, I had already switched from my heels to my comfy shoes. I still looked pretty dope though….

I wish I could take credit for finding this dress myself, but in reality, my little sister got it first. She got it in purple, and I loved it sooooooo much! When I saw that they had it in red, I knew it would be the perfect holiday dress! It was also on sale, so I was super happy with it.

I started the evening in some black patent leather wedges (seen in this outfit post) but after dinner, the group did some bar hopping. Since I didn’t really want to hop in heels, I brought some cute flats to change into. Best decision I ever made! We ended up at a lot of places that were standing room only and I would have been miserable in heels the whole time. These flats have paid for themselves over and over, seeing as they were sort of an impulse purchase as my wedding reception shoe. I’ve gotten so much use out of them….. I think I should have gotten the nudes ones as well, but they sold out….. #sadpanda

I’m looking forward to sharing some awesome workout and swim wear in the next week!

  1. I love the clothes that Nordstrom has, but they don’t always have the best selection in store. I would say to check it out though! They are great about ordering something to come to the store, so you can try it on. If you don’t like it, you can return it right there!
