This week’s plus size outfit post is actually last week’s plus size outfit post. I had been wanting to put together an outfit with the awesome blue skirt I got for my Halloween costume. I was Tina from Bob’s Burgers!
How do you think I did?
If you don’t know who Tina is, you should start watching Bob’s Burgers IMMEDIATELY. She’s amazing and awkward and totally into butts. My button says “I <3 Butts” because, duh.
Anyway, I ordered this skirt for the costume and it was super cheap on Amazon. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was and figured I’d need to find a way to make an outfit with it. I put this together for an evening of co-working with the coolest ladies in Austin!
Sweater – Target, last year (similar) | Shirt – Rebdolls (still available in white) | Skirt – Amazon (LOTS of colors!) | Boots – Frye Veronica Extended Calf Slouch Boot (Nordstrom, only available in Black) | Bullet Ring – Mana Culture | Lipstick – Noyah Cosmetics (Deeply in Mauve) | Eyebrows – Anastasia of Beverly Hills DIPBROW Pomade (in Ebony)
I totally forgot to take a picture of just my shirt, but it is black and says BOSS. I wear it when I need to remind myself that I am a total BOSS and in charge of my life, my business, and my blog. Not my cat though. No one is really “in charge” or her.
I really enjoyed this outfit, but the wind was a little …… awkward. There were a few almost-Marilyn Monroe moments, but I was smart enough to put some shorts underneath. Hopefully people didn’t think I was flashing them my overly long, blue knickers….
I’ve gotten more and more into makeup lately, and I’m pretty much loving it. I’m learning how to fill in my brows and I feel like it’s really upped my makeup routine. Because I have sensitive eyes and wear glasses, I rarely bother with eye makeup other than a swipe of eyeliner. But bold brows are totally giving me a glamorous feel, especially paired with my typically bold lip colors.
To make a long story short (too late) I AM FEELING MY LOOK!
What look are you feeling lately?
